Explore and develop my English (5 to 10 years old, GS to à CM2)
The aim of this course is to develop children’s knowledge of English vocabulary, language structures and cultural themes using authentic Anglophone children’s literature.  The 15-hour course is structured around a storybook, which constitutes the basis for a range of language learning activities: language exercises, role plays, songs, chants and craft work. Children develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills depending on their age.  On the last day of the course the parents are invited to a presentation of the story, given by their child’s class. 

Preparation for the "sixième" (for CM2 only)
The aim of this course is to develop CM2 student’s understanding of English reading and writing skills at secondary level. It introduces the student to language structures at sentence level and approaches to learning foreign languages in secondary school. Work on all the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) is based on the programme of work for 6eme and the syllabus is different for each week. 

Intensive General English courses for secondary students (Sixième to Terminale)
Our intensive holiday courses allow students to benefit from immersion in an English-speaking environment and offer an enjoyable and positive learning experience so as to boost students’ confidence and motivation.  These 30-hour intensive courses are based on a course book and develop the 4 skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) as well as language structures and vocabulary. Throughout the week, students are encouraged to use the language in a variety of situations: role plays and presentations. Students may also work on a project throughout the week and present it to the class on the last day.

Please find below our programme for the coming months.  Secondary students will need to take a placement test in order to evaluate their level of English.  Primary students in Paris, its suburbs and Marseille can register directly with their closest British Council centre.
