Manchester based The Sunday Boys and Paris based Mélo’Men – both low voiced LGBTQ+ choirs – will commission a new work by composer Hugh Sheehan for performances in Paris and Manchester on 11 June.
Both choirs will also sing previously commissioned repertoire from each other’s catalogues, giving UK and French premiere of French and UK works.
This collaboration is supported by Diaphonique, the Franco-British programme for contemporary classical music.
