"Possédé.e.s" is a multidisciplinary exhibition which explores the relationship between resistant or excluded bodies and esoterisms: a means to reappropriate and perform feminist, queer or decolonial identities.
The exhibition brings together over 25 international artists including 5 artists from the UK : Ian Forsyth, Jane Pollard, Paul Maheke, Lewis Hammond and Dominique White.
It has a particular resonance with the history of Montpellier, a city known for its history and tradition tied to the Faculty of Medicine, which in 2020 celebrates its 800th anniversary.
A programme of performances, talks and screenings is developed around the exhibition.
This exhibition is supported by Fluxus Art Projects, the Franco-British programme for contemporary art.
