Saturday 27 May 2017 to Sunday 28 May 2017
Vincent Dance Theatre company - Mains d'Oeuvres, Saint-Ouen

Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales in Seine-Saint-Denis is taking place from 12 May to 17 June in 16 different venues, in Seine-Saint-Denis and Paris. This festival is dedicated to contemporary dance creation, with works questioning our world by taking a sharp and poetic look at it.

Virgin Territory - Vincent Dance Theatre

Virgin Territory takes an uncompromising look at what its like for young people to live in an over-stimulating, over-sexualised, digitally captured world.

Four adults and four children negotiate some uncomfortable truths about the culture we live in, where bodies are exposed, identities are faked and our deepest truths remain hidden. Heartbreaking in its honesty and brave in its intent, Virgin Territory is a hopeful, rallying cry from the ‘astonishingly original’ Vincent Dance Theatre (New York Times) to just let our kids be kids.

Conversation with Charlotte Vincent

A talk with choreographer Charlotte Vincent will take place after the performance on Saturday 27 May.
