Join our resident teacher and historian Simon Handy for what is sure to be an interesting talk on the history of the BBC during the second world war. .
Building on the talk earlier in the year on its foundations, Handy will show how the BBC developed through the 2ndWW into the institution that we are familiar with today. It will feature some notable characters and famous incidents.
For information, there is no need to have attended the first talk to enjoy this one however!
What are Talks in English?
All talks are usually 45 minutes long and are delivered in English. Each talk is followed by refreshments, giving attendees a chance to practise their English speaking and listening skills.
