Bannière Talks in English
Date
Thursday 12 February 2026 - 19.00
Location
British Council

Join us for what promises to be another brilliant talk by Jon Henley, who is Europe correspondent at The Guardian newspaper.

We are delighted to have him back,  and this time he will explain how to structure an article and how to prioritise news items.

As well as a great journalist, Jon is also a brilliant speaker, so this is bound to be engaging, and interactive.

 What are Talks in English?

Talks in English are an opportunity for subject specialists to talk about their area of expertise with British Council students, staff and the wider public. The talks are a platform for participants to interact in English.

There will be refreshments served after the talk, to give guests an opportunity to practise speaking and listening to English.
