What your teenager will learn

Throughout the programme, your teenager will strengthen their academic English and develop the skills needed to communicate with greater confidence, accuracy and precision.

They will learn to: 

  • communicate clearly and accurately in spoken and written English;
  • expand their vocabulary and strengthen their grammar, spelling and punctuation;
  • read, understand and analyse a range of texts;
  • organise ideas and adapt their writing to different purposes and audiences;
  • understand the structure and requirements of the examination;
  • recognise different question types and what each one is asking them to do;
  • plan and structure effective responses;
  • manage their time and develop strategies for approaching examination tasks;
  • apply their skills through regular practice and feedback from their teacher.

The annual fee is €1,750 for a 60-hour course or €2,440 for a 90-hour course, depending on the programme. Payment by monthly instalments is available, subject to conditions.

This programme is designed for fluent bilingual students aged 14–16 who already have a strong command of spoken and written English.

The course runs over two academic years, generally from Troisième to Seconde, and prepares students progressively for the Cambridge IGCSE examination.

Cambridge IGCSE is an internationally recognised qualification for students aged 14–16. The programme develops academic English as well as skills in reading, writing, analysis and communication.

 

Students learn to communicate clearly and accurately, analyse different types of texts, organise ideas effectively and adapt their writing to different purposes and audiences.
