On 13 and 14 January 2027, the British Council and France Éducation international will host an international workshop on the professional development of language teachers today and in the next decade. The international workshop will bring together educators, decision makers and researchers, and will feature:
- interactive sessions discussing the skills needed to thrive in the language teaching profession today and over the next decade, as well as the support and developmental pathways that can help make it possible;
- poster presentations and panel discussions exploring international practices;
- new research and insights from the British Council, France Éducation international and partner organisations.
