Secondary English Online offers live online group classes for young people aged 11 to 18, taught by our experienced teachers. Your child will become more confident using English, build confidence in their studies, and develop valuable skills for higher education and their future.

With Secondary English Online, your child will

The learning hub can be accessed using a desktop computer, laptop or tablet. We do not recommend using a mobile phone because we want to make sure all our students enjoy a quality learning experience.

 Even online, your child is part of a genuine learning community. During live lessons, they interact with classmates, work in pairs and small groups, and contribute to collaborative projects. These activities provide frequent opportunities to speak, listen to different viewpoints, and use English for authentic communication. As a result, they build spoken confidence, strengthen their teamwork skills, and become more comfortable expressing themselves in English.

Personalised guidance and support

Our experienced teachers support every student with individual feedback designed to help them improve. Informal assessments and regular discussions help your child understand their progress, recognise their achievements, and identify areas for development. This encourages them to reflect on their learning and gradually become more independent.

Extended learning with the Learning Hub

 Between lessons, your child completes activities on the Learning Hub selected by their teacher to prepare for or reinforce topics covered in class. They can work at their own pace, deepen their understanding, and continue developing their speaking, writing, listening, reading, grammar and vocabulary skills. Articles, videos, podcasts and other digital resources make learning engaging and relevant. A personalised dashboard also allows them to access their activities and track their progress.

A clear picture of your child's progress

Secondary English encourages your child to take ownership of their learning and become increasingly independent.

Regular updates on their learning, together with two progress reports each year, help you keep track of their achievements, progress and areas for improvement. This allows you to discuss what they have been learning and celebrate each milestone together.

Lessons that fit around your family's schedule

 Your child attends one live online group lesson each week from home, with no travel time to a teaching centre. Early evening classes make it easier to fit learning around secondary school. Activities on the Learning Hub can then be completed independently whenever it is most convenient.
